Helm of Orcish Semblance:  This battered and dented but otherwise well constructed help will reveal its magical nature when held, growing or shrinking to the size of the holder’s head.  When donned, the wearer’s appearance is altered making him/her appear as a strong and vigorous orc.  This will effectively reduce the wearer’s Charisma by –2 to non-orcs but improve the effective Charisma by +2 to other Orcs and Half-Orcs.  The helm’s Charisma feature also works on Orcs and Half-Orcs by making them appear as an “alpha” male or female.  The wearer’s clothes are also altered slightly to be more earthy colors, a rougher cut, and a little more worn appearance.  The characteristics of this illusion are as the spell Silent Image cast on the wearer by a Sorcerer of 6th level.  The Charisma effect will give the character a +2 bonus on attempts to Intimidate non-orc humanoids of medium or smaller size as well as a +2 on Bluff, Diplomacy, Disguise and other interactions with orcs, half-orcs, goblins, and bugbears, at the DM’s discretion.  Those interacting with the wearer will get their initial Will check as per the spell description as well as additional checks whenever the wearer acts in some “un-orcy” fashion (this is left the DM’s discretion and the roleplaying of the situation).  Some more powerful versions of this item also allow the user to understand and speak Orcish.
