Kevin Chenevert

I was born and raised in New Orleans and the Gulf South.  Currently, I reside in the Greater New Orleans area with my wife and sons.  I pay the bills by practicing Architecture.

I been playing Dungeons and Dragons as well as other rpgs and wargames since 1982.  I have been painting and sculpting miniatures (mostly conversions) since 1988.  In recent years I have become more serious and focused on sculpting.

Since I was small, I have always drawn and sketched incessantly.  Since the day I finished reading "The Hobbit" I have been addicted to fantasy and to a lesser extent, science fiction.  My artistic influences range widely but include Frank Frazetta, Egon Shiele, Giacometti, Rodin, Durer, Simon Bisley, Brom, Sam Keith, Tom Meier, Sandra Garrity, Werner Klocke, and Bobby Jackson.

Although my current miniature sculpting work may not reflect this, my goal is to craft original designs of non-standard heroes, heroines, humanoids, monsters, and anthropomorphics.  As my skills improve and I develop designs that I am pleased with, these designs will be reproduced in limited runs for purchase.  If any of my current work or concepts from my sketchbook impress you, drop me a line and I'll try to focus my efforts in that particular direction.  I love feedback.

I am currently not interested in taking on any commissions although reproduction rights will be available for my personal designs and future designs shown in my Ideas sketchbook.  Contact me only if you are seriously interested.

I hope you enjoy my hobby and work as much as I enjoy thinking about it and making it.
